Colts Cheer Car Wash Complete Success!

The Westchase Colts cheerleaders, parents, and coaches would like to thank everyone that stopped by last weekend to have their car washed. The cheer squads earned enough money to purchase pink pom-poms for use during breast cancer awareness month this season.

Equipment Handout & Cheerleader Fitting Dates

Football equipment handout will be held on Saturday June 16th and Saturday June 23rd inside the equipment shed at the Colts practice fields. Players will be able to pick up their equipment from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on both days.

Cheer fittings will take place on Sunday, April 29th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Westchase Recreation Center. The Rec Center is located next to Westchase Elementary School in Westchase.

2012 TBYFL Schedule Posted

The 2012 TBYFL schedule has been announced and updated on our website.

Our first Skyway game is in the 4th week of the season as the Colts are on the road for the first three games: at Lutz, at Oldsmar, and back again to Lutz. Parents probably will not look forward to the last game of the season since it will be early games in Brandon against the Panthers.

Colts Cheerleading Car Wash May 5th

The Westchase Colts cheerleaders are having a car wash fundraiser at the 7-11 on the corner of Countryway and Linebaugh on Saturday, May 5th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The car wash proceeds are to help the girls purchase pink pom poms for breast cancer awareness month which is in October.

Bring your car by and let our Colts cheerleaders clean it up for you – all for a good cause.

Colts Welcome Tijuana Flats as Newest Sponsor

Colts families are encouraged to visit their Westchase location at 9520 West Linebaugh Avenue the first Wednesday of every month. New Player Registration on Saturday, April 14

Open registration for players new to the Colts organization will be held Saturday, April 14th from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colts equipment shed at the Ed Radice Sports Complex. The location and directions to the Ed Radice facility can be found on our Field Directions page.

Final Registration for Returning Players March 24

The registration deadline for returning players will take place Saturday, March 24 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colts equipment shed at the Ed Radice Sports Complex. Players who do not attend this registration or have not registered prior to this date will not be guaranteed spots on the 2012 rosters and will instead be required to register during new player registration dates. Final payments are also due on this date.

Colts Pee Wees Finish as Super Bowl Runner-Up

Our Pee Wee Colts made it to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row, but unfortunately, walked away with runner up trophies.

Coach Chuck’s squad battled hard all season and definitely continued to improve with time as evidenced by their 25-0 trouncing of the top-seed Giants to gain their birth in the TBYFL Super Bowl.

Their effort did not go unnoticed by the parents and the players were cheered and celebrated as they left the field yesterday. “That’s OK,” said Coach Chuck. “We’ll win it next year.”

Colts Cheerleaders Impress Everyone at TBYFL Cheeroffs

The Westchase Colts cheerleaders returned to the top of the TBYFL world last night as they walked away from the 2011 Cheeroffs with 4 first place tropies, 1 second place trophy, and a division grand champion trophy.

Our Mighty Mites started the long day off with a bang and nailed their routine to the cheers of the packed stands and earned first place for their efforts. Pee Wees performed another perfect routine to finish in first place in their conference, along with the Super Midgets and Varsity. The Midgets looked amazing and worked their way to a second place finish.

The highlight of the night was watching our Super Midget squad being announced as the division grand champion as the screams and yells from every Colt parent, cheerleader, and coach echoed throughout Sickles High School.

Congratulations to all of the Colts cheerleaders and coaches as they once again proved that the Colts are the best organization in the Tampa Bay Youth Football League!
