The Westchase Colts Football board has been working behind the scenes for the last few months on the creation of a new sport centered in the Westchase area and based on the same philosophies as the Colts. That sport is lacrosse. That team is the Westchase Stampede!
The Stampede will begin play in the Spring of 2013, which is right around the corner. Registration has just started and they plan to field boys teams for U9, U11, U13, and U15. They also plan to have two girls teams; Youth and Middle School.
Practice begins in January at Skyway Park and will continue at Ed Radice in February. The season runs from January through the end of April with games on most weekends and a few during the week. Practices will be every Monday and Wednesday night.
