The Westchase Colts’ first trip to Lutz was a success as all four squads took home wins against the Brandon Ravens. The Pee Wee squad continued to showcase their stifling defense as they shutout the Ravens 21-0.
Our Super Midget squad finally gave up a couple of touchdowns, but still dominated on offense by scoring 20 points against the Brandon team for a final score of 20-13. The nail-biting began with the Midget squad as they finished strong to come back for a 14-8 victory and our Varsity team escaped with a very close 8-6 victory.
The coaches of our older kids promised lots of work on the basics come Monday as they weren’t happy with what they saw from their players – despite the wins.
